This creates a really low profile, stealth install, making the overall build neater due to fewer items that need to be mounted to the bike and connected with cables. This is a 22A Bafang controller, which is suitable for the 500W motors that we sell. These controllers can be set to a specific maximum speed if used in combination with one of the handlebar displays that we sell. If you need it programmed in a particular way for your use, then let us know. The controller is programmable using the Bafang programming cable that we also sell.

This controller is cleverly integrated into the frame mount designed for Hailong 1-style batteries, delivering a clean and compact installation. By embedding the controller within the battery mount, your e-bike build remains sleek and tidy with fewer exposed components and cables.

Suitable for 500W motors, this 22A Bafang controller offers programmable speed limits when paired with compatible handlebar displays. Custom programming is available using the Bafang programming cable we also supply, allowing you to tailor settings for your specific needs.

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • Occasionally, Hailong battery frame mounts do not align with standard 2-bottle cage mount points. There must be at least two bolts securely holding the battery mount to the frame.

  • If misalignment occurs, the Grin Tech battery bob mounting adapter (sold separately) may be required for proper fitment.
