*This is the only version of the H700 series, multi-gear hub motor system that will fit in a standard width dropout. This only needs 138mm, which many older bikes will accept. CONTACT US if you need assistance or are after the H710, H720 or H730 models.*
Bafang H700 / G3600 Rear 2-Speed Auto-Shifting Hub Motor Kit – Road Legal, Smart Climbing Performance
This uniquely engineered rear-drive motor system combines innovation and intelligent design to deliver an exceptional riding experience, especially for hill climbing and cargo hauling. The Bafang H700 / G3600 hub motor features an internal 2-speed gear system with automatic shifting, making it perfect for city riding, heavy-load transport, or custom e-bike builds.
When your speed drops below a certain threshold, the motor automatically shifts to a lower gear, increasing torque output and enabling smoother, more efficient hill climbing. This system is especially ideal for DIY cargo bikes, and when paired with Xtracycle frames (available in limited new-old-stock), it becomes a powerful solution for building a high-performance electric cargo bike.
